About Nemak Poland

Nemak Poland is a specialized plant in high-pressure casting technology (HPDC), with an emphasis on innovation and highly automated production. In Bielsku-Białej there is the Pressure Casting Development Center (HPDC Product Development Center) — one of the few research and development centers in Poland for the foundry industry. The technologists and specialists employed there invent fresh goods and methods, carry out research and development, offer technical assistance in launching the production of goods and establish common guidelines. Specialists from Nemak Poland also support the production activities of other plants of the group around the world.

HPDC PDC - Development Center

Nemak Poland boasts one of the few research and development centers in Poland for the foundry industry — the HPDC Product Development Center. The center covers several areas: Leading Engineering Department, Project Management and Quality Planning Department, Process Development Department, Research and Development Department, Engineering Development Department, and Virtual Development Department. Our engineers and experts support the production of the plant in Poland and the production activities of other plants of the group around the world.

Products and Technology

Nemak Poland is a specialized plant in high-pressure casting technology (HPDC), dealing not only with production but also with connection and assembly. Special joining processes include welding, friction welding, gluing, and screwing.

The company's area of operation includes the following departments:

- Structural components department — the castings produced here are used to build the car body (shock absorber housings, side members, side pillars), they are made using high-pressure casting technology.

- Drive system department — castings are made here using the high-pressure casting method on machines with a clamping force of, 2000t. up to 2500t.

- Production of electric car battery casing.

- Production of car frames.

- Auxiliary departments — Maintenance, Tool Shop.
