Nemak Linz – a traditional company in the foundry industry
One location of the global corporation Nemak is in Austria. In Linz Kleinmünchen, up to 1 million aluminum cylinder heads as well as numerous prototypes for well-known automobile manufacturers such as BMW, Porsche, and Ford are manufactured every year. Since the company was founded in 1946 on a greenfield site, it constantly requires the highest level of excellence and consideration for the surrounding area. There are currently around 350 employees working at the Linz plant.
