Monterrey, México, January 16, 2026  – Nemak, S.A.B. de C.V. ("Nemak", or the "Company") (BMV: NEMAK) announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a succession plan for the Chief Executive Officer position. 

After 42 years of dedicated service to Nemak, including 13 years serving as Chief Executive Officer, Armando Tamez will step down from his role effective March 31, 2026. This transition is part of a carefully structured succession process, underscoring the Company’s commitment to continuity and long-term strategic growth.

The Board of Directors has appointed Hervé Boyer as Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2026.

Hervé Boyer holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from École Centrale de Nantes in France and has completed advanced executive programs at Harvard Business School and INSEAD. Most recently, he served as Global Chief Operating Officer and Executive Board Member at Nexteer Automotive. With over 30 years of international experience in senior management and operational leadership roles within the automotive industry, Hervé brings deep expertise in global operations, sales, product line management, and value-creation initiatives.

An orderly transition process will ensure continuity in leadership, operations, and Nemak’s commitments to customers, employees, and stakeholders.
